Welcome. I’m Millie — a mother, lover of nature, gardener, yoga practitioner, and mindfulness meditation teacher. I’ve been meditating for 30 years, starting with Transcendental Meditation and gradually experiencing a growing sense of calm, clarity, and ease in my daily life. Over the next 23 years, I attended many retreats and workshops on different forms of meditation and in 2012, I began to focus more on Insight/Vipassana meditation.

I’m a graduate of the 2-year Mindfulness Meditation Teacher Certification Program — an intensive training program through the Awareness Training Institute at the University of California Berkeley's Greater Good Science Center. My core teachers are Jack Kornfield, Tara Brach, and Rick Hanson, though I also draw wisdom from many other great teachers, including Jon Kabat-Zinn, Sharon Salzberg, Kristin Neff, Joseph Goldstein, and Dr. Daniel Siegel. I’ve also trained in Mindfulness Cognitive Based Therapy and Interpersonal Neurobiology.

I firmly believe that the practice of mindfulness has the potential to foster more peaceful coexistence in our world today. Meditation, for me, opens the way to a deeper knowing of our true nature, creating a foundation to thrive through all of life's many challenges and beauty.
