Summer Davis

Trip Host - Morocco, Costa Rica

Hello! My name is Summer and I strive to create travel experiences rooted in authenticity, conviviality, hospitality, and genuine friendship. I am a third generation Angeleno born and raised in the San Fernando Valley (of Los Angeles, CA, USA). I have lived in St. Louis, Boston, Ecuador, Morocco and Peru and traveled to over 35 countries on my own adventures.

Throughout my career, I’ve had the privilege of organizing and leading tours through Ecuador, Morocco, Turkey, Peru, Nicaragua, Cuba, Spain, and Portugal. I'm fluent in English, Spanish, French, and Moroccan Arabic, and I truly believe that learning languages is the key to understanding, connecting with, and positively impacting the world.

My hope is to inspire my guests with beauty — through naturally dramatic landscapes, peaceful moments, and kind, welcoming people. I want them to open their minds and hearts to allow more love, acceptance, and wonder to enter. I want each person to release any personal stress or strain and fully absorb the love reflected in each moment — a carefully prepared pot of tea, a warm smile from a guesthouse owner, a glorious sunset.

I hope my guests return home with not just souvenirs, but new perspectives — considering how they might positively transform their own lives. When our eyes are opened, we begin to open our minds to new ideas, to imagine things we hadn’t before, and to reimagine our concepts of health, wealth, beauty, family, community, and self.

When we learn how others live, build, communicate, work, eat, and love, we let go of the idea that there’s only one “right” way. Through meaningful interactions with others, we often uncover solutions or perspectives that lead us to rethink how we live at home. At the very least, we walk away with a deeper consideration for and understanding of a different culture — and that inspiration stays with us, inviting us to keep exploring further.
