Jess Lewis
Patagonia Trip Host
Hi! I’m Jess. I was raised by mountain guides and have spent my entire life working and playing in mountain ranges across the world. My love for walking through wild places was sparked at a young age—when I became the youngest person (at the time) to thru-hike the Continental Divide Trail, a 3,200-mile journey across the country with my family.
For more than a decade, I’ve guided both internationally and domestically, including leading expeditions in Patagonia and working with teams in remote environments such as West Antarctica. I’m a seasoned adventure guide, instructor, mentor, and teacher, and I love creating experiences that are both physically engaging and deeply supportive.
Alongside my guiding work, I’m the founder of Wyld Heart Co, where I specialize in mindset and resilience coaching, as well as leadership development – particularly for women who are drawn to challenge, growth, and living with greater internal clarity. My coaching is grounded in the belief that courage matters more than confidence, and that true transformation happens when we learn to trust ourselves, listen honestly, and lead from alignment rather than expectation.
I’m especially passionate about helping women explore the parts of themselves that don’t always get the spotlight – the quieter instincts, the untamed voice, the inner knowing that often gets buried beneath roles and responsibilities. Whether we’re moving through wild landscapes or sitting in conversation and reflection, my work centers on creating space for women to reconnect with their strength, their truth, and one another.
As a longtime lover of literature and journaling, I’m naturally drawn to the way Honest Heart Journeys facilitates transformational travel. I lived in Patagonia for five years and speak Spanish fluently, so returning to this region – one that shaped me deeply – feels like a homecoming.
More than anything, my hope is that the women who travel with me walk away feeling more capable, grounded, and alive – with a renewed sense of trust in themselves and the courage to carry that clarity back into their everyday lives.
